Well, I'm finally back in Maryland after three days in Miami. And guess what?

I RAN THE MARATHON!

And I finished!

Not that it matters, but here are my stats...

I ran 26.2 miles in 6 hours, 14 minutes.
I was 100th place in my age group.
I was 2368th place overall...good enough to get my name listed as a marathon finisher in the Miami Herald!
I got a really cool medal.
Within an hour of returning to our hotel room after the race, my roommate and I ordered a pizza from Domino's. I was so hungry that I ate a half of a Domino's mushroom pizza (that's four slices) in under ten minutes. So did my roommate. It was awesome.

Overall, a great experience. Even though running that last mile was probably the hardest thing I've ever done. My whole body wanted to shut down, but I kept going! And as much as my legs hurt right now, I know in my heart of hearts that I am definitely going to run more marathons!
